The Creatives Project (TCP) hosted its annual holiday dinner featuring special guest Chef Cooper Miller of Hampton and Hudson and drinks by mixologist Navarro Carr. We offered an elevated incarnation of TCP’s traditional “family potlucks” shared among the artist into a gourmet fundraiser directly benefiting our artists and the community to create an intimate dining experience. On Thursday November 19th 2015, The Creatives Project, in partnership with GALLERY 72, opened TCP's Annual #ARTofCOMMUNITY Exhibition; PATTERNS of FLIGHT. Inspired by their growth in creative collaboration, the show embodies the journey of our resident artists and how they have expanded and elevated their bodies of work. The Creatives Project and Metro Gallery and Framing present the 2015 Capture Youth Exhibition in support of the Year of Boulevard Initiative. The exhibition showcases and celebrates works created by the Capture Project's Summer Youth Portrait Workshop participants including students from the Old Fourth Ward's Operation P.E.A.C.E!
As this amazing year came to a close TCP was honored to offer an elevated incarnation of TCP’s traditional “family potlucks” into a gourmet farm to table #ARTOFCOMMUNITY dinner presented by Italian Chef Luca Barolli of Parma, Italy and SOFIA XIV. Following a wine reception courtesy of Hayes Valley wines and a special performance by TCP music curator Suno Deko, Chef Barolli presented a four course dinner paired with Farmer's Organic Gin craft cocktails. SUNO DEKO curated an experience in which he along with musicians: BREATHERS, ALLIGATOR INDIAN, and 100 WATT HORSE created visual based works to support the atmosphere of their show. Not only did guests enjoy the musical stylings of each performer, they also experienced installations/ art works created by those performers.

TCP and The Goat Farm Arts Center proudly presented CONTINUUM the 4th Annual Exhibition & Benefit showcasing work by TCP’s artists-in-studio residents. EVENT INFO
Presented in collaboration with Ponce City Market, The Creatives Project and VSA Arts of Georgia presented the inaugural “Capturing Community” Youth Exhibition to benefit the Year of Boulevard initiative. The exhibition showcased and celebrated works created by TCP’s summer portrait workshop participants including students from Operation P.E.A.C.E. and Big Bethel AME Church. Lite Bites were provided by Earth Biscuit Foods.
The Creatives Project, VSA Arts of Georgia, & YO Boulevard will raise funds for the first year of the CAPTURE Project in the O4W during a cocktail reception and meet & greet with TCP resident artists. Art works created during the pilot program were also on display. EVENT INFO
